We are presenting our 140 Years of Music celebratory concert in the stunning atmosphere of the Christ Church Cathedral Newcastle from 1:30pm on Sunday 20th October,. This gala concert is to mark the historic milestone of 140 years of community engagement and music-making by the regions premier brass band, Waratah Brass.
Both Waratah Brass and Waratah Brass Academy band will present a wonderful programme of traditional and popular music for all tastes including tunes from Strauss, Leonard Bernstein, Neil Sedaka, Stevie Wonder and many more. In addition to featuring both bands, the afternoon will also showcase several of the bands’ talented soloists.
Celebrations will continue from 5:30pm at the Cricketers Arms Hotel in Cooks Hill where past members, families and friends are invited to share stories and toast the occasion.

As well as our monthly meetings we enjoy various outings and lunches where our wives or partners are welcome.
