Koala’s and other wildlife will soon be able to cross the road safely at Port Stephens.
Council is in the process of constructing an underpass on Taylor’s Beach road in efforts to prevent wildlife being knocked down by cars.
The underpass will be complemented by two kilometres of fencing and grids to ensure the safety of our nation’s icons.
The works are set to be complete by mid 2023.
