An elderly man is recovering in hospital after being crushed by a cow near Paterson.
About 4:40pm Monday afternoon, the Westpac Rescue Helicopter was called to a property at Vacy following reports a man had been crushed between a gate and a cow.
An 81-year-old man was treated at the scene for chest injuries and fractures before being flown to the John Hunter in a stable condition.
