Andy Evans, the CEO of Oceanex Energy which is working up the Novocastrian Offshore Wind project off the coast of NSW, had previously said the proposed zone should be double the size.

The federal government has declared another offshore wind zone for Australia, off the New South Wales Hunter coast. The zone has been reduced in size from what was originally proposed.
