A civilian NSW Police Force employee will appear at Newcastle Local Court in a months time, charged with publishing false and misleading material to gain a financial advantage.
Strike Force Miram was established by the Professional Standards Command following allegations a man had fraudulently obtained a document.
A 33-year-old man was issued with a future court attendance notice for the offence of publish false misleading material to obtain advantage.
The civilian employee is attached to a command in the Northern Region.
He is due to appear at Newcastle Local Court in August.
