A house has been left significantly damaged after a fire in Broadmeadow yesterday.
Emergency services were called to the scene on Chatham street just after 4 o’clock and managed to contain the blaze to the building.
Witnesses say black smoke billowed from the two story weatherboard home while it’s occupants scrambled to safety.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
