The state’s peak agricultural body says a new move to allow live updates on all NSW roads stands to save lives and livelihoods during future natural disasters.
Real-time data will be included on the live traffic app and website to give accurate information of flooded and bush fire affected road.
Before now only state roads were featured.
22 local government areas, including Lake Macquarie and Maitland will be the first to feature in the new system.
