Prime Minister Scott Morrison unveiled the Coalition’s flagship housing affordability plan at the Liberal Party campaign launch on Sunday, which would allow first home buyers to access up to 40 percent or $50,000 from their superannuation to put towards a deposit.
Federal Minister for Housing and Assisted Treasurer, Michael Sukkar spoke to Richard King about the new first-home buyer policy and if this scheme will increase prices in the housing market.
