Police are on the scene of a fatal crash at Lake Macquarie this afternoon.
Just after 2:30pm, emergency services were called to Caves Beach Road at Caves Beach after a motorcycle left the road and hit a fence.
It’s understood the rider died at the scene.
Police are now investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
It’s unclear whether the rider has been identified at this stage.
