A man’s been charged after shooting at Raymond Terrace on the weekend.
Police were called to a home on Benjamin Lee Drive around 11am on Saturday, where the occupants found a .22 calibre bullet had been shot through their front door.
Investigations led officers to a Mazda 323 parked in Dungog yesterday morning, they allegedly found the casing for a similar bullet in the footwell.
Police arrested a 19-year-old man at a Raymond Terrace home just after 4pm, where they also reportedly discovered a firearm.
He’s been charged with firing a firearm at a house with disregard for public safety and possession of an unauthorised firearm.
The man has been granted bail and will front Raymond Terrace Local Court on the 1st of June.
