Richard & Kim spoke with Newcastle Herald journalist, Ian Kirkwood about news that the ACM will be closing a number of its newspapers including some here locally in the Hunter until at least the end of June. In our region the Newcastle Herald and the Port Stephens Examiner will continue publication with the Herald operating six days a week and the examiner three times per week. The move has been blamed on the economic downturn brought on by COVID-19.
