Police have now charged four people over an aggravated break and enter at Cardiff in January.
A 48-year-old man had arranged to meet with a woman he’d interacted with online at a home on Government Road on the 12th of January.
He was assaulted with an ornamental sword and a metal pipe by two intruders shortly after.
They fled the scene with $650 in a vehicle driven by another man.
A 25-year-old woman, a 34-year-old man and a 19-year-old man were charged over the matter earlier this year.
A 23-year-old man was also arrested at Windale yesterday and was charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm.
He’s been refused bail and will front Newcastle Local Court today.
