Police have charged a teenage girl with armed robbery, following an incident at a Charlestown restaurant last night.
At about 9am, a 15-year-old girl entered a store on the Pacific Highway where she allegedly threatened a female worker with a broken bottle.
She then made off with the woman’s mobile phone and a small sum of cash.
Police were notified and following a brief investigation, they arrested the girl at a nearby fast food store at 11:30pm.
They allegedly found the phone and the cash in her possession.
She’s been refused bail and will face a Children’s Court today.
