Richard King spoke with senior Newcastle police officer Superintendent John Gralton about the Newcastle Siege – a tense seventeen hour stand-off with police. The 27 year old offender was arrested early this morning.
He was released from Jail only a few months ago after serving almost nine years for armed robberies and police pursuits its also believed he is a diagnosed paranoid schizophrenic.
